Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long / often will this group meet?
Groups meet 1 time per week, over a 6 week period. We will also host a church-wide celebration after we complete the study!
2. What is the difference between a host and facilitator?
A host is a person who has opened up their home to guests for the purpose of this study. A facilitator is the person leading the group through the study (showing the video lessons, asking questions from the workbook, etc.)
3. Where do we find group members for the study?
Members of the church, your workplace, school, your neighborhood, family, friends. We encourage you to reach out and bring new people into the fold. Many people will go to someone’s home before thy will come to church. Use this as an opportunity to reach others!
4. What about childcare?
Each host group will handle childcare in various ways. Many of our host homes are child friendly, some will have baby sitters, others may have activities planned for the children. This study is an awesome opportunity for your entire family. Including your children is welcomed and encouraged!
5. When will groups meet?
Groups will meet 1 time per week. We will have over 20 groups meeting on various days and times of the week, usually in the evening. There should be a group meeting at a time that fits your schedule! Check our list of host homes for meeting days and times!
6. Can I start any time?
Yes, you can start at any time, but attending all six sessions is encouraged so you can get the most out of the study.
